Managing deposit and balance invoices may seem complex, but it is a crucial step to ensure the financial viability of your projects.
The deposit invoice: a legal obligation
As soon as you receive an advance on an order, you must issue a deposit invoice. It will record the payment and must contain the same legal information as a standard invoice.
Issuing the balance invoice
At the end of the work, the balance invoice will close the project. It must show the total amount, and clearly deduct the amount of deposits already received to avoid any confusion.
